I am human, epitome of sin
Fleeting wretches dart about, I watch
And casually pick a lotus from the garden
Upon its uprooting a mist fills the air
Azure fog blankets all vision, a voice booms
Robin Williams, voice of Genie, grants me
a trilogy of wishes, each one a step out of this pit
I ask for fire to burn and eradicate
I ask for ice to soothe and alleviate
I ask for light to erase and eliminate
Genie takes my hand, wisps me into nothing

I like the incorporation of Robin Williams... The Disney Genie was the coolest character in those movies...
and there's a lot of CRAZY deep meaning in the "trilogy of wishes"
you also managed to fuse 4 or 5 completely different ideas into one. good job...
This obviously can't be Robin Williams. He is not some zany guy who has the job of some professional.
Lotus blossoms, Azure , Robin Willims...that's an odd combination. I especially like the trilogy of wishes...there's a lot more here than meets the eye. Actually this is one of the best poems by a kid ( no insult intended) that I've read in a long while... I like it a lot more than the rant about subtances, new years, and kicking asss.
nice poem Tom. it was very insightful and meaningful. I didn't know how well you could express yourself..in poetry. So good job.
